Bayernland – a brand with a future is born
On the 15 January 1965 the “Bayernland” brand becomes a registered trademark. The choice of name evokes thoughts of green meadows, clear mountain lakes and blue skies; from now on the freshness and quality of the products are already made clear by the pleasant-sounding name.
The half-billion Deutschmark annual sales mark is passed for the first time.
Building on this success, contact is made with Südtiroler Molkereigenossenschaft. Shortly afterwards, the first Bayernland products are delivered to Italy.
