The Bayernland Emmental cheese factory is situated not far from the company headquarters in Fürth, in a convenient location for transport at the harbour of the Rhine-Main-Danube canal.

The Emmental cheese factory produces around 8,000 tonnes of Emmental per year, mostly from milk from the surrounding area.
